I picked this movie up today because it was a buy 2 get 1 free thing going on at the store. The cover reminded me of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (which I have not seen yet) so I thought it might be decent. Turns out it is an excellent movie.

This movie has great Chinese martial arts and a good tragic love story. The music is beautifully done in a soothing and melodic Chinese tone, and the scenery is amazing!!

It's a 2 hour movie starring Ziyi Zhang, Takeshi Kaneshiro, and Andy Lau, that was made in 2003. The particular DVD that I bought lets you view the movie in Chinese, English, or French and your choice of either English or French subtitles (or no subtitles at all). The English subs don't even possess the quality that Dattebayo puts out, but the English dub is really, really good.

I'd give this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars!

ohh i remember this movie i saw it when i was about 12 years old with a couple of friends this is the movie where in the end

also this is where that gang is of women i think and they all have the abillity to use daggers and knives to extraordinary lengths or something correct me if im wrong

Your memory serves you well.. you're right on the mark! A gang of dagger-throwing women sort of made me go 'wow'! And the way the military men flew through the top of bamboo trees was pretty awesome, too.

I was amazed at the acting of the 'blind' woman. Her skills in acting were very convincing!

oh, gosh i love this movie soooo much!
It is so good, and I love this one more than Crouching Tiger, actually. But that's just my opinion. ^^
