Due on Dec 12, 2008, this film is based on Stephenie Meyer's bestselling novel Twilight. I have been a big fan of the book series since I first stumbled about it nearly 3 years ago. Such an awesome, awesome vampire romance story. *swoons*

The fact that a book I am absolutely in love with is going to soon have a movie counterpart has made me really really anxious--and excited. I'm just going to have to wait and see what their adaptation will look like. I've also been nit-picky with the choice of actors, but I must say after watching different video clips of scenes and other footage of the movie, I'm starting to like the chemistry the cast provides with each other.

The only thing I'm still a bit nitpicky about is Jacob Black. He's always been one of my favorite characters. I think the way Meyer portrayed him made him very real. But I had this set image in my head--and the person playing him....well, he's not bad. And if they do make a sequel I'm sure he'll grow into the more mature, bulky Jacob I imagine....LOL

I caught your post in Blackmamba's book thread, Twilight Series, and took a look at that commentary clip. They made it sound like a movie that is a 'must see' and I'm looking forward to it.. if I can get past the actress playing Bella due to seeing her in Zathura over a hundred times thanks to the little guy.
