I've been downloading like crazy.. hence why I am at my father's.. larger hard drive, but slower download speeds *sigh*.. so yea, I was thinking that maybe for each team's first movie, and more if you'd like, we could sort of try to pick a movie that matches with what our team represents. It can be either anime or cinematic, doesn't matter, so long as it is suitable for most audiences. Our youngest member, which happens to be my son, is able to watch anything so long as the hentai and major nudity are left at the door. For example, he feels a wee bit uncomfortable with the nudity in Underworld: Evolution, but tolerates it because he knows it's not about that and it's pretty brief.. as he explained to me right before watching it again, this past weekend.

Anyway, just a thought that popped in as I'm downloading some flicks to start this weekend off. What do you think? And do you have any other suggestions? Remember, as I posted in the last thread about Movie Night, if you're solo on your team, something can be worked out if you can't upload a movie yourself. For everyone, if you don't have a movie, but know what movie you'd like to present, then you can always do a torrent search for it, as ripping your own DVDs can become cumbersome, and I'm a noob at knowing what to do with the file once it's ripped, because I've never done it.. yet.

Sounds likie an excellent choice...I haven't seen that movie in a long time. And as Kyouri mentioned, I'm also a noob at knowing what to do once the DVD has been ripped..

Yea, CSD.. that's quite an alright movie, in my opinion. Since I sort of shot myself in the foot with uploading all the Hellsing OVAs already, Rental Magica doesn't have any movies or OVAs that I know of, and some other organizational movies are geared more toward other races as a whole and not individual, I think I'm going to go with something like Blood: The Last Vampire.. although I admit that I'm hoping team Yume no Eimin comes up with a really uber all, or mostly, vampire movie.. feeling in the mood... hint hint YE

Well on my laptops hard drive I have, Deep blue sea, Austin Powers Goldmember, I am Legend, Sweeney Todd, Run fat boy Run, Sword Fish, Dave Chappel Killin' em' softly and Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon.

I also have lots of movies on disc that i can just put onto my laptop.

Great to know you and your team were thinking ahead. Since I really wish to leave the vampire flicks to your team, I opted to do some more searching today and found a different movie. So if you would like, you can still show Blood: The Last Vampire.. it's one of those I've never seen. If you don't, that's cool, too, as I downloaded it at my father's (took 36 hours) and I'll watch it later.
