They say you can tell alot about a person by their choice of material they read. I read alot of different things in alot of different areas. My personal library is rather large. Most of my books are non-fiction and vary from medical, to horticulture, to astrology, chemistry, astronomy, herbology, and several diverse spiritual cultures.
In the line of fiction, it's pretty slim. I find a book to be considered a good fiction if the storyline is well plotted out with intriguing characters and a mystery base to it. (I prefer to keep my action for the visual 'moving' media.)
Overall, I'd say that my preferences lie within bridging the gap between our human ignorance and the spiritual intelligence that resides within us all. This goes for both fiction and non-fiction.
